OUR PHILOSOPHY

Our original mission when establishing our stud farm was and is to breed rideableand friendly ponies that are willing to perform. We set very high standards for ourselves and stand for species-appropriate care and gentle training of the riding ponies in accordance with their age, all based on the respect we have for them. An important aspect for us is ensuring the welfare of our riding ponies. Whether broodmares, young stock, studs, or show ponies: Our ponies should get as much exercise as possible on a daily basis. In addition to training under a rider, our ponies enjoy daily releases in pastures or paddocks as well as on the horse walker. We stand for classic horsemanship. We give our ponies the time to develop in accordance with their age. And we take the time to foster their naturalabilities. Always following the motto: Foster your pony’s talents without overstressing it. This is the only way for ponies to become a partner and a friend, to stay healthy, and to remain willing to perform into old age. All of our ponies are able to move around freely on our extensive pastures in accordance with their need as a species. This strengthens the growing bones andtendons of the young animals and contributes significantly to their health in the future.Our ponies are raised naturally in a herd so that they learn social behavior and get to know hierarchies. They also get used to environmental conditions and noises, which makes them calm and mentally strong at shows as future dressage ponies.
